Beyond Fossil fuel

This might seem impossible, but impossible has been done before. In this film we go back to the late 1880’s when the German inventor and engineer Werner von Siemens presented the world’s first electric train. Some years later, another German inventor, Andreas Flocken, presented The Flocken Elektrowagen, which is now considered the world’s first electric car.

These are inventions, which not only encapsulate the essence of German innovation and ingenuity but also laid the tracks for the modern day E-mobility revolution. At the North Sea Wind Power Hub we are inspired by people like Werner von Siemens and Andreas Flocken. People that has moved the boundaries of engineering. Because that is the level of ambition that is required to solve the monumental climate crisis.
