North Sea Wind Power Hub - Dynamic Stability Studies Offshore Grid

This report documents the studies performed for Scope B of the North Sea Wind Power Hub dynamic stability assessment. The main objective of Scope B is to evaluate the voltage and frequency stability of the two different topologies of the offshore hubs with wind power feeding the hub and interconnectors between hubs. The studies were performed using Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) simulation in PSCAD software.
